I'm Inspired to...

I’m inspired to do things in a different way. The more you jump out of the box, the more opportunity you have.

Outside the office

I love music, travel, and spending time with my family. I’m looking forward to our daughter getting a bit older so she can take adventures with us.

My Experience
  • Recruiting – finding new talent to support CG’s rapid growth
  • Performance management – ensuring that our employees and clients are happy
  • Leadership development – helping employees grow into new roles and challenges
  • Workforce planning – getting the right people, on the right projects, at the right time
My Start Date

February 2004

Deanne
Talent Senior Manager

CG’s core values are strong. We believe in flexibility, so we don’t take a cookie cutter approach to every employee.

Deanne, Talent Senior Manager

I can tell you first hand that CG does the right thing for its employees. This can be a ‘down and dirty’ industry. But we foster a caring and supportive environment – and we deliver on our promises.

Set Up to Succeed

At CG, there is an opportunity for everyone to have a mobile and upward career path. Not many consulting firms operate like we do. We ask our people, “What do you want to do?” vs. telling them, “Here’s what we need you to do.” And we ask them why they came here and why they stay here. Then we use this feedback to make our benefits more attractive and our consultants happier. We don’t ever settle for the status quo.

Flexibility at the Core

CG’s core values are strong. We believe in flexibility, so we don’t take a cookie cutter approach to every employee. We give employees control over their own professional destinies and support their interests and activities outside of work. Personally, that means I have the flexibility to be a good mother and to participate in the community. I don’t ever feel guilty about putting these things at the forefront.

We’re all Recruiters

Although recruiting is in my job description, I bring other people into the firm because it’s a great place to work. Many of my colleagues do the same — personal referrals make up a big percentage of our hires. I think that says a lot about the firm.

Many Hats, Endless Opportunity

Since I’ve been with CG, I’ve worn fifty different hats – from sales to recruiting. This has been a very positive experience and has afforded me the opportunity to try new things. By stepping into new roles as the organization morphed, I gained more exposure to more people as I refined my skill sets. As a result, I was able to work with the management team to create a role that is the perfect fit.

Looking to the Future

One thing I know for sure: at CG, there will be more and more talent to manage. I have a vision for expanding the talent management role and I’m confident that I’ll have the company’s support to make it happen.
